Zion has been blessed in recent years with ongoing enrollment growth. As a result, we we have become limited in our facility space. Several of these challenges will be overcome by the building project recently approved at our June 18 Association meeting. Components of the project include the following:

Two classrooms to by used by the upper elementary and junior high grades

A dedicated resource room, as well as additional conference and office area for resource.

The current office is inefficient with regard to layout, circulation and privacy with many heating cooling/ice issues, etc. A redesigned office would also improve our security by allowing us to better monitor our school entry and exit areas.

Our teachers have patiently waited for a teacher prep/lounge area, the likes of which is included in this proposal.

Filling in the courtyard will improve circulation in our facility (especially office to gym traffic).

The office space will provide better teaching staff and administrative conference areas (the hallways are currently used in many cases) and offer more clearly delineated employee bathroom areas
We are thankful that the cost of this project has been covered entirely by donations designated specifically for building projects.
